The Ohio State University Writing Center will resume autumn hours of operation, beginning on Monday, August 27, 2018. Specific hours for each location can be found below. These hours will remain in effect until December 7, 2018, when services close for winter break.
Individual consultations (45 minutes) in 4120 Smith Laboratory: Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Team projects (45 minutes) in 4120 Smith Laboratory: Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Drop-off (24 to 48 hour response time during business hours; weekend sessions available; not available during university holidays)
Satellite writing center (25 minutes) in 122A Thompson Library: Monday through Friday, 3 to 7 p.m.
Veterans' Writing Consultancy in the Veterans' Lounge, 1132 Smith Laboratory: Wednesdays 6 to 8 p.m. and Thursday 2 to 5 p.m.
Writing Groups run from the second or third week of each term to right before finals. We offer support in accountability and goal setting, or in providing interdisciplinary feedback, for graduate and postdoctoral writers.
Instructors may request classroom visits from the Writing Center to describe our services or for more developed workshops. We also provide writing workshops and retreats, usually bi-annually, for faculty writers.
