On March 10, Writing across the Curriculum and Outreach presented a workshop on Writing and Critical thinking for central Ohio secondary school teachers. Thanks to all who came--we had a great turn-out and interesting discussions about how to incorporate more writing and critical thinking into the classroom.

Many thanks for attending our workshop on “Learning to write, writing to learn” workshop. In our February workshop, we had a great mix of English teachers from various parts of Columbus Public Schools.

My thanks to Sandy Cox, the curriculum coordinator for English/Language Arts for Columbus Public Schools, for arranging this workshop and the workshop in December. It has been inspiring to work with such creative, resilient teachers who face many constraints and yet give their all to make sure their students learn. I'll summarize what came out of our workshop, and I hope that you will add your thoughts, ask questions, and share your ideas.
