Who's Listening; Who's Talking?: Creative Ways to Engage Students with Writing in a Auditory Medium
View Flyer [PDF]Students come to school with a variety of talents and abilities, some of which don't always get used in academics. Technologies like Audacity and wikis build on extracurricular skills while offering new ways for students to engage with writing and with other students. This workshop will highlight the best uses of auditory wikis, collaborative software that makes usersupplied sound files available to the public. Workshop participants will leave with their own audio files and lesson plans ready for classroom use.
