Writers Talk, produced by the Ohio State University’s Center for the Study and Teaching of Writing, interviews a wide variety of authors, focusing on how they produce text and communicate in a variety of genres. Its purpose is to demystify and promote writing, especially for academic writers. Guests have include best sellers like RL Stine, Lee Child, and Rita Mae Brown; humor writers like Laurie Notaro and Christopher Moore; Internet authors like Grammar Girl and John Green; journalists like Rick Reilly, Byron Pitts, and Bruce Feiler; and academics like Kevin Boyle and OSU President Gordon Gee.
