Please join us for a free conference to explore topics that include creative uses of social media, new philosophies of technology use, and innovative technologies for classroom instruction. We'll feature 45-minute, interactive presentation on topics ranging from digital storytelling to open source application for surveys, podcasting to marketing with Facebook. A mid-day session (11:30 am, includes lunch) offers time to socialize and view exhibits from organizations and companies after we hear from university leaders.
Submit a proposal to present on Friday, Feb. 19 to the Ohio State community (deadline: December 4)
My university department would like to be a DMSW partner for the Friday OSU event.

Saturday, February 20, 2010, for the
digital media community
Building on the success of the 2009 Digital Media in a Social World Conference, we added a second day for 2010 (Saturday, Feb. 20) to include the digital media community beyond the Ohio State campus borders. There is a $20 charge for this full day of sessions and events. Lunch will be provided at a mid-day session (11:30 am) that features keynote speakers Cindy Selfe, Distinguished Humanities Professor and Professor H. Lewis Ulman from Ohio State, digital media scholar Cheryl Ball from Illinois State University, and Angelo Mandato, creator and director of PodCamp Ohio.
